Nutrition Month Malaysia, or NMM, is the nation’s premier community nutrition promotion campaign. It aims to promote greater awareness and practice of healthy eating to attain nutritional well-being. NMM is strictly a not-for-profit project, solely for the purpose of health promotion. NMM is a collaborative project jointly-organised by three professional bodies namely, the Nutrition Society of Malaysia (NSM), the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA) and the Malaysian Association for the Study of Obesity (MASO), with support of Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, Malaysia. This year NMM aims to promote optimal nutrition for children aged 4 – 12 years old and to inculcate healthy eating habits and physical activity from young.
